Zambia & Botswana 2023
If you think about African main destinations, Zambia is definitely not among them. So, why did I go there? The reason is a pen pal friendship. A friend of mine, with whom I have been exchanging letters, has been living in Zambia for some years, so I decided to go and visit her, and my mom came along. My love for this continent is immense, so I was extremely curious to see this new country, plus a tiny bit of Botswana. I was not disappointed because I saw a wide range of environments, numerous animals, and even the mighty Victoria Falls. The fact that it is not very developed in terms of tourism was also beneficial, as we did not encounter many tourists and could enjoy the precious time and sights alone.
